Firefox 3 Release Party

Cross-posted from Bevan Rudge.

Mozilla has finally announced Firefox 3's launch date; this Tuesday 17 June.

They want to break a guiness world record for number of downloads and
I'm sure they'll achieve it. You can go pledge on spreadfirefox.com
(A drupal site): http://www.spreadfirefox.com/en-US/worldrecord

Blogging Applications

Testing a post from Deepest Sender.  DS is an offline, browser based (firefox) blogging application that talks to several different blog engines.  Hopefully this will post to my personal blog and my work blog.

Firefox 3

I installed Firefox 3 RC1 this morning. I have to say, it's feeling quite stable, very responsive and the CSS rendering is pretty good. It hasn't produced any complaints from looking at any of my recent projects at least.

Tempest 08

The Tempest page is finally done. I really need to get this site migrated to a Drupal based system. The online registration form is done also. This was a quick one. Just a slight modification of the one set up for NatCon08. This one only took about 30 minutes this time.

Workload

Things are looking up. I have steady work from Egressive and am also finishing up one project from Meta Solutions while on the verge starting another. Setting up office at the Effusion Group was probably the best advice I've received and the best choice I've made.

NatCon 2008

The NatCon 2008 Registration Form has just gone live.

NatCon is an annual national wargaming tournament. This year the tournament is being held by the Christchurch Cavaliers at the St Albans & Shirley Working Men's Club. They needed an on-line registration system that would allow the tournament organisers to be able to collect the registrations with the minimum amount of fuss and paperwork.

Site Content

I've started putting up some content. Not entirely happy with it, and there needs to be a lot more. Need to do some of that money generating work for the moment now though so this will need to wait a bit.
