The Crab Nebula and a rethink on the 3303 tour

Submitted by Unifex on

I made it to the Crab Nebula.

On the way out here I caught up with Commander Picard who had just left the Crab Pulsar heading out to the rim. We explored a canyon with a wonderful backdrop of the milky way in one direction and the moons binary partner in the other with their Gas Giant as the backdrop to that.

It appears that the objects listed in the ancient document that is the Messier Catalogue that are within the Milky Way are not all present in the Universal Cartographics database.  They had so many different catalogues and naming specifications back then. This could be an interesting paper for a forensic historian. Matching up all the old names to what we have in the UCDB today.

I think the 3303 Tour may need to be rethought.
